  Can't believe you design a playground inaccessible to kids under age or with disability! Seats for parents don't have shade either so unbearable most times of the day. How is this possible to happen in fnq? On the brighter side, you have some decent shops and cafes. Love the new cinema

  Smithfield shopping centre is an older centre however has all the basics- 2 supermarkets, kmart, movies, restaurants, coffee, general clothing shops, and cafes. There is a great parents room too with private rooms for feeding as well as microwave, change tables, couch and play area.

  My favourite place (close to home) to shop for practically anything. Has renovations (for the new cinema & restaurant complex) happening outside at present so parking can be at a premium on the busier days. Both Woolworths and Coles supermarkets. Lots of speciality shops, eateries, coffee bars, Kmart and Best for Less, post office, banks etc., you name it Smithfield Shopping Complex has it. Just a hop, step and a jump from the popular Smithfield Tavern plus lots more. Why go anywhere else? UPDATE:- November 2017..most new shops and eateries are now completed and open for business. We now have a taste of everything including Mexican, Korean, Asian, American, Australian and much more. The super duper new Vmax movie complex is also well and truly up and running. Once you have shopped till you drop and eaten yourself silly you can hit the awesome new Gymnasium, Five Star Fitness which is open 24/7 and has all the equipment you could possibly need. Yep, Smithfield Shopping Centre is simply outstanding.

  Currently has undergone construction of a brand new cinema. Love grabbing something sweet from hummingbird and a coffee to boot.

  Good shopping center but no optometrist also no hardware store but bunnings is nearby
